5th Annual Mercy Ride For The Homeless
The 2010 Mercy Ride for the Homeless will support the The Salvation Army’s Gateway of Hope facility in Langley,BC, which is expected to open it’s doors in 2009. The facility will provide 30 emergency shelter beds, 25 supportive independent living transitional beds, a daily meal center that can feed 150 homeless and marginalized citizens per sitting seven days per week, a wide host of vocational training programs, including chef, custodial, and hospitality training, computer education, as well as counseling services. The provision of these programs and services would not be possible without the generous donations and support from local businesses, schools, and community members towards fundraising efforts such as The Mercy Ride for the Homeless.
Please join us for this great family event on Saturday, August 28th for a ride with your friends, coworkers, or family members to support this great cause; all makes and models are welcome to join.
