Overview: Kamloops: We will leave on the Friday June 22nd heading for the Kamloops Super 8 Motel in Kamloops , B.C., where we will stay for two nights.
Accommodation: We will be basing ourselves in Kamloops, B.C. at the Super 8 Motel where we have blocked 15 rooms. As this area fills up for the summer very quickly we advise early room bookings.

Circle Tour Ride :
Out of Kamloops Go North along Hwy. 5 to the Hwy. 24 junction turn East along Hwy. 24 thru to Hwy. 1. at 97 Mile. 3 mi. North to 100 Mile House for Lunch or South to 70 Mile House and on to Clinton and to Cache Creek. From there continue on Hwy 1 to Hwy. 97c junction and the Ashcroft turnoff. Follow the 97c Hwy. up the hill thru to Logan Lake. From Logan Lake follow Meadow Creek Road until it crosses the Coquihalla Hwy. continue on the Meadow Creek Road which turns into Lac Le Jeune Road and continues onto Kamloops.
While traveling this route you may want to stop and view some sites such as some of the many fine Lakes or the Chasm just south of 70 Mile House, or the Tailing ponds at the top of the hill out of Ashcroft, or the Big Ore Truck in Logan Lake.

Event Comments: 2018 GVMC Circle Tour
THE ANNUAL CIRCLE TOUR REMAINS A CLUB MEMBERS AND GUESTS ONLY EVENT.
This year the Club ride was off to Kamloops with twenty two members travelling and making their way as they desired some rode others drove. Some members found rain which was brief while others found wet roads after the rain, in all the weather was acceptable to hot. Destination was the Super 8 in east Kamloops with a pool. Riders/drivers arrived as individuals and in groups throughout the day (Friday) and arranged meals and social events themselves. On Saturday riders left to follow a course designed by Ron Gaudette - Little Fort, Iron Horse pub, 100 mile house, Ashcroft and Kamloops. some travelers report 500 km, all survived. Saturday night was dinner at the Cascades Casino, by all reports the self-served food was great. On Sunday members made their way home as individuals or groups using routes of their liking. One group returned via the Okanagan Connector, Merritt, then down the Canyon, reports say they may have been lost.
