18th Annual GVMC Circle Tour (Closed Club Event)
Mark June 23 – 25, 2023 on your calendar for a great weekend of scenic riding and visiting.
Details: The GVMC Circle Tour will be held on June 23rd – 25th, 2023. This is a Closed Club Event open to family and friends. Save this date for a great weekend of fun and socializing while riding your motorcycle.
Sign Up: $20.00 per Bike. Sign up at the Club house See Ron Gaudette to pay for the event.
Overview: This year's Circle Tour Destination is the Quality Inn in Merritt B.C. for Fri. the 23rd of June, Sat. the 24th and Sun. the 25th. There will be a ride on the Sat. All are on their own to get to the Quality Inn in Merritt on the Friday staying Friday night and Saturday night returning Sunday out of Merritt.
Accommodation:
We will be basing ourselves in Merritt, B.C. at the Quality Inn.
Participants will book their own rooms.

When booking please say that you are with the Greater Vancouver Motorcycle Club.
We have 10 rooms blocked off for our Club – some are single queens and some are double queens at the cost of $119.00 per night. This includes a hot buffet breakfast. Hotel has an indoor pool, hot tub, gym and restaurant.
Everyone needs to book their rooms on or before May 7th, 2023.
Saturday Ride:
Sat. June. 24th. Ride
Our ride will take us through some breathtaking country. Starting in Merritt we go west on 97c. to Quichena and then past Stump Lake to Knutsford then onto Hwy.97 turning West or Left toward Kamloops going through Kamloops on Hwy.97 to Cache Creek where we turn south onto No.1 Hwy.to the Ashcroft intersection. Left turn down the hill into Ashcroft on Hwy.97c follow 97c up the hill past the tailing ponds at the top of the hill and onto Logan Lake. From there we cruise back into Merritt, have a small rest and to dinner or a swim. It should be a good ride for all to enjoy.
Saturday Night Dinner:
We will be going to the New Town Restaurant right next to the Quality Inn in Merritt For Dinner ( Japanese). For those who want American food I've heard that it may be available.

2023 18th Annual GVMC Circle Tour
June 23 – 25, 2023 was the 2023 GVMC Circle Tour. Friday, everyone was to make it to Merritt B.C., where we were based at the Quality Inn, on their own choosing their own routes, some longer than others. It was a beautiful sunny day without being extremely hot. Seven motorcycles and one car set out which made 12 participants including passengers. All arrived without incident to refreshments and snacks on the patio of the Quality Inn in Merritt B.C. to visit and relax until we went in small groups to dinner.
Saturday’s Circle Tour Ride started out in the rain and the riders were rained on at times during the ride sometimes very heavily. All who chose to ride came back safely. The ladies chose not to ride so explored the area in a car stopping for a nice lunch.
Saturday evening, the whole group met at the Garden Sushi Restaurant for a delicious Japanese dinner. After dinner more visiting till bedtime.
Sunday morning, all left early for the ride home which was again pleasant and sunny weather arriving home safely with no incidents,.
Hope to see everyone out again next year for the 2024 GVMC Circle Tour.
