There will be a staggered departure time to avoid bunching up.

Event Comments: 2023 GVMC Toy Run
Both Darwin from Deeley’s and Chris from the Christmas Bureau had great things to say in regard to our involvement with this year’s Vancouver Toy Run. Plans to grow this ride are already in the works.
Just to give you the highlights, we had 30 participants and 14 of which were on motorcycles. The weather was beautiful. The organization lacked a little, but our issues have been identified and it will be better next year.
All our guests were greeted with coffee, tea, pop or water and there was donuts and muffins available for their enjoyment.
Dave Seifert led the Ride from the clubhouse onto Highway 1 into Vancouver where everyone arrived safely.
The info I have now is that the very first Toy Ride only attracted 12 riders. It took five years to decide to make it a (Pin event) and turnouts slowly grew.
This year, with the help of the GVMC, Deeley’s has taken in $1685.00 in cash and over 100 toys, and it’s not over! People are still dropping donations off. There will be a free photo with Santa on a Harley on Dec 2. So, we should post and push that just as soon as we receive the graphics for the event.
Chris is already entertaining the idea of creating pins for next year and is looking forward to adding to our Ride by signage and support.
